P.S. This tiered floral dress has been super popular on le blog — great for transition-to-fall. It has sleeves, too, which I know many of you find appealing for things like family photos! More great dresses here.
P.P.S. Do you agree with this: “Love isn’t a fact. It’s a hunch at first. And then later it’s a series of decisions, a lifetime of decisions. That’s love.” I’m not sure.
P.P.P.S. Thinking of sharing more fiction soon…in the meantime, what are you reading?
A few standout books that I’ve read this year:
The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline, about female convicts sent to Australia (Tasmania, technically), heartbreaking and really vivid!
Agatha of Little Neon by Claire Luchette, about a group of twenty-nine year old nuns (already a great premise!) who live and work in a halfway house, and how one navigates her faith.
The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim, about a wife and mother who drastically shakes up her life by renting out a crumbly old villa in the Italian Riviera with a few strangers.
These all sound SO compelling! Thank you for sharing!

I downloaded Dark Tales, by Shirley Jackson recently, and have encountered some great short stories. I thought I was familiar with most of her work, so these were a nice (spooky) surprise. I read before bed, and nights when I’m tired the short story format works better than a book for me.
This sounds SO fun and right up my alley. Thanks for the tip!

Ooh, I love those Nili Lotan pants — her pants in general are some of my very favorites! Love your top picks, too.

Me too – just realized that Banana has a pair that is SUPER similar to them, too!!
