I am super inspired by the silhouettes seen on chic peas Jules Sarinana (above) and Julie below. Above, Jules wears DL1961’s Hepburn Pants (on sale in one lucky size here; if you are lucky, you can find a very similar cut at Gap in khaki, but it’s running in extremely low stock). I believe Jules is wearing these Levis below (more sizes here; very similar: these white Mother jeans), and this $12 Mango tee! I feel like this silhouette would look fabulous with these pointed toe suede mules I ordered.
A few other pairs I am loving for fall…
THESE WIDE-LEG CROPS ($30!)
ANN TAYLOR — ADORE THE COLOR AND CUT
VERONICA BEARD (ORDERED THESE — THIS SILHOUETTE MAKES ME SUPER HAPPY)
A different silhouette, but I am also drawn to these kick flare crops, especially with a blazer (ultra-covet: one of these outrageous Blaze Milanos — you can find some on absurd sale here — but also love this J. Crew) and maybe a corduroy ballcap?
VERONICA BEARD (IN MY CART, BUT CAN’T DECIDE BETWEEN THE CORDUROY, RUST, OR THE OLIVE GREEN)
Unrelated to either of the above, I cannot stop thinking about these loud Zara pajama-style pants, to wear with a cutaway tank and black sandals. WOW. And also unrelated: do I need cableknit sweats like these or these? Chic!
P.S. More similar inspo here and here.
P.P.S. A forbearance that far outstrips my own.
P.P.P.S. Things to say yes to.
Any idea what type the girl is wearing in the last photo? Full length , slight flare/boot blue jeans?
Thank you!
I’m wondering too!
Hi Jessica and Tasha – At first I thought it was these Levis, which are super similar —

And under $100!
But a reader messaged me to say they are by French brand Rouje, The Concord style:

Ah such chic finds here, as always!
I don’t know if it’s the pandemic, but I am feeling “done” with skinny jeans. Love all the alternatives here, particularly the army green Veronica Beard! What a great price too. Though I’ll probably have to get something like 10 inches cut off for my 5’0″ self, ha!
I’m with you – starting to branch out into new shapes. I did buy those VBs and they are about a foot too long, but they fit beautifully elsewhere. Taking them to the tailor in a few minutes actually!! I figure the cost of tailoring will still be far less than the cost of buying the pair at full price!
